We hope you're ready to help fill a speculation Apple, because Reuters is to serve a slice of pie big rumor today. According to the ubiquitous "source with knowledge of the case," the Taiwanese chip maker, TSMC is preparing to provide Apple with its next generation of mobile processors. According to the anonymous source apparently reliable TSMC has already started trial production of chips and "obtained all permissions and details ready." As you know, the current provider of Apple's processor is Samsung A5, and relations between the two has been rocky (at least in court). This round of speculation also comes just a year after the TSMC began construction of the new foundry 9.3 billion and has partnered with ARM - the brains behind the A5. Of course, all parties declined to comment on the report that land squarely in the vineyard for now, but we'll keep you posted if it sneaks into reality.
